Theodore “Ted” Naima was born and raised on Long Island, New York.

After graduating from high school, Ted obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance at Syracuse University, and then went on to attend law school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

After completion of his first year of law school, Ted was hired as a law clerk for a preeminent Miami law firm specializing in medical malpractice, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. After graduating from law school and being admitted to the Florida Bar, he was offered a position as an associate attorney with the firm and immediately began litigating and trying personal injury and medical malpractice cases. While working as an associate with the firm, Ted passed the New York State Bar Examination and was admitted to practice law in New York. After 4 years with the firm, he left Miami and returned to New York to continue the practice of law.

Upon returning to New York, Ted was hired as a trial attorney with a boutique personal injury law firm located in Garden City and continued trying a variety of personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. After nine years with the firm, he went off on his own and opened the Law Offices of Theodore A. Naima in 2010, where he continues to represent injury victims and their families throughout New York and Florida.

In 2015, Ted was awarded the prestigious AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, the company that has long been recognized as setting the gold standard for lawyer ratings, signifying the highest degree of peer recognition and professional excellence. In 2015, Ted’s jury verdict of $9,000,000 in the Ramos v. Bartis case was inducted into the New York Law Journal Verdict Hall of Fame, and recognized as the highest jury verdict award in New York State in 2015 in a pedestrian motor vehicle accident.
